The Excelsior 6 model follows the popular design of the Excelsior range and is complete with 2 porcelain coated grills, 1 porcelain coated griddle plate, stainless steel burners, porcelain coated flavouriser bars, warming rack, two handy utensil trays, fully integrated side burner , and mixes the traditional wood with the metal contemporary feel. Made from quality stainless steel this roasting hood is easy to clean and is ideal for roasting, grilling or even baking. Our hooded models are so versatile, once you have finished cooking, you can turn off the barbecue and pull down the hood and the food sitting on the grills and griddles will keep warm for a good 30 minutes afterwards.

The Outback Excelsior features top quality stainless steel burners. Stainless steel gives optimum heat output, longevity and performance.

If your barbecue has a porcelain coated cooking surface, whether it be with grills or griddles, you can be assured that it will be easy to keep clean with gentle washing after use and will prevent rusting, thus making it more hygienic. If you have a griddle on your barbecue, you can turn it over to display a flat surface which is ideal for frying eggs.

A swing away warming basket is ideal for increasing your overall cooking area. It enables you to place food in it once it has been cooked making room on the grills and griddles for actual cooking. Food placed in a warming basket will keep warm from the heat of the main cooking area.

Porcelain coated fire bowls ensure that the ‘bodies’ of our barbecues will not rust or corrode and will give years of low maintenance service.
